Hi, this is a drawing I just made now, after Helmut Goebkes told me recently on the phone about it. This should really work ! The only problem I see is, how long the magnets last, cause every time the steel balls kick at them and this probably will demagnetize them a bit during the kick? Try it out ! It should be possible to coat the magnets in a thin silicon caulk compound to prevent the magnets from cracking when they slam against the ball.
